2015 Dressage NSW Annual Award & Performance Medal winners

Dressage NSW is pleased to announce the winners of the 2015 Dressage Annual Awards.

• Novice Horse of the Year (Polaris Trophy): Bloomers Simply the Best – Daniella Dierks (owner Melanie Bloom)
• Elementary Horse of the Year (Wassegies Trophy): Fuerstin Hit - Daniella Dierks (owner Daniella Dierks)
• Medium Horse of the Year (Samaria Park Trophy): Bradgate Park Delilah - Sharon Potter (owner Bev Healey/Sharon Potter)
• Advanced Horse of the Year (Equestrian NSW Trophy): Boronia HG  – Elliot Patterson (owner Ela Weight)
• FEI Small Tour Horse of the Year  (Dressage NSW Trophy): Silbermond – Rachael Downs (owner John Potter)
• FEI Medium Tour Horse of the Year: Wallmeyer – Gina Montgomery  (owner Gina Montgomery)
• FEI Big Tour Horse of the Year (FEI Trophy presented by Dressage NSW): Diamond Star – Judy Dierks (owner Vicky Newham)
• Pony of the Year: Noble Dancer – Amanda Shoobridge (owner Revelwood Warmblood Stud)

Amateur Owner/Rider Awards

For the first time, Amateur Owner/Rider Awards will be presented to Amateur Owner/Riders in 2015.

• Novice: Demartini – Anita Doswell
• Elementary:  New World William the Conqueror – Samantha King  
• Medium: Mauritius – Wendy Calabro
• Advanced: Renwood Waratah – Sheryl Morsley
• FEI Small Tour: Renwood Waratah - Sheryl Morsley
• FEI Medium Tour:  Heatherton Park Gift – Kelly O’Keefe
• FEI Big Tour:  XL Overtime – Rebecca Walshe

The Horse of the Year, Rider of the Year and Young Athlete of the Year will be selected by the NSW Selectors and announced and presented with their award at the Equestrian NSW Awards Night in 2016.

Dressage NSW Performance Medals

128 horse/rider combinations from NSW are eligible for Dressage NSW Performance medals in 2015.

Ten (10) horses achieved "Gold" status.

43 Silver Medals and 75 Bronze Medals will be presented this year.  The number of Silver Medals this year is double what was presented in 2014.

Medallions are presented by Dressage NSW to all Medal recipients.

A presentation to all DNSW Award and Performance Medal winners will take place at the DNSW Annual Awards Night and Christmas Pirouettes Party on Saturday, 21 November 2015 at the Hawkesbury Race Club.  Congratulations to all.
