Qualification Information for Competitors

The 2021 SYDNEY CDLITE conditions of entry and schedule will be published in early February 2021. 

The event will include all the usual FEI levels as well as EA Advanced competitions and the Kohnke's Own NSW Young Horse Championships.  All competitions will be conducted as national competitions.  

Qualifications for the event will be required and we are publishing this information ahead of the schedule to assist riders/owners who are considering entering the event.  

Due to Covid 19, the qualifying period has been extended. All qualifying performances must be from Official Competitive competitions within the qualifying period – 18/09/2019 to 17/03/21

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS

All qualifying performances must be from Official Competitive competitions within the qualifying period – 18/09/2019 to 17/03/21

Due to Covid19 the qualifying period has been extended. 

All combinations must submit their best two (2) performances in Official Competitive competitions during qualifying period.

If results cannot be verified from entries submitted, riders will need to produce proof of results.

At least one qualifying score to be obtained by the nominated horse/rider or pony combination. The OC will consider exceptions in special circumstances for all competitions. 

• CDN-FEI U25: One performance of 60% or higher at Intermediate A or B, Intermediate II or Grand Prix/ U25 Grand Prix level;
• CDN-FEI Junior: One performance of 60% or higher at EA Medium level or above (excluding freestyle).
• CDN-FEI Young Rider:  One performance of 60% or higher at FEI Small Tour level or CDI-Y individual or Team test. 
• CDN-FEI Pony:  One performance of 60% or higher at EA Elem level or above including FEI Pony competitions (excluding freestyle).
• EA Advanced:  One performance of at least 60% or higher at Advanced level required;  
• CDN FEI PSG, Int I & Int II:  One performance of at least 60% or higher at the respective level;
• CDN FEI Inter A and B: One performance of at least 60% at Intermediate A or B;
• CDN FEI Grand Prix: One performances of 60% or higher in a Grand Prix competition. 

• Young Horse/Pony: One performance of 6.5 (65%) or higher in a Young Horse qualifier. 

The number of horses per rider per competition may be limited if oversubscribed. 

One HC performance is allowed as a qualifying result.

In exceptional circumstances the OC have discretion to waive or make exceptions to accept entries for national competitions.  Wild cards are NOT considered for the YH Championships.
