Qualifications Required

The qualifying period runs from the 17 July 2023 - 17 July 2024.  Performances for events up until Sunday 28th July will be accepted but entries must be received before the closing date and then performances must be sent via email asap.

All entries for EA and FEI Level tests must be qualified by having gained at least the following during the 12-month period preceding the closing date.

Performance Qualifications

Performance Requirements by Level

  • Preliminary Level - Open: one performance of 68% or higher; AOR & Pony: one performance of 65% or higher
  • Novice Level - Open: one performance of 68% or higher; AOR & Pony: one performance of 65% or higher
  • Elementary: Open: one performance of 65% or higher; AOR & Pony: one performance of 62% or higher
  • Medium Level: Open: one performance of at least 62% or higher; AOR & Pony: one performance of 60% or higher
  • Advanced Level: Open: one performance of at least 62% or higher; AOR & Pony: one performance of 60% or higher
  • Prix St George: Open, AOR & Pony: one performance of 60% or higher at PSG
  • Intermediate I: Open, AOR & Pony: one performance of 60% or higher at Inter I
  • FEI Medium Tour: Open, AOR & Pony: one performance of 60% or higher at Inter A or B is required
  • Intermediate II & Grand Prix: Open, AOR & Pony: one performance of 60% is compulsory at the competition level entered. Grand Prix results will count towards qualification for the Inter II.
  • The organise committee may rank a horse which has two high qualifying scores and rank them above horses with three lower scores on approval of the DNSW Executive.
