Young Rider Development Program
Please note that due to unforeseen circumstances the YR Development Program has been temporarily discontinued.
Dressage NSW YR Development Programme is aimed to promote and support our young riders in their dressage pursuits. This programme is open to riders aged from 10 to 21 years on horses and from 8 years on ponies.
Benefits of the programme:
- Access to specifically designed clinics throughout the year
- Mounted sessions with experienced rider/coaches
- Unmounted sessions aimed at engaging young riders across the many facets of horses and competitive dressage
- Ability to meet like-minded young riders from across NSW
2023 Registration Fee
- You must be a member of DNSW
- $40 for the 2023 Programme (plus Nominate transaction fee)
All YR development members must be current members of DNSW to register for the YR Development Program.

Young Rider Leaderboard
A leaderboard for young riders who are members of Dressage NSW was established in 2017. Results from Official Competitive competitions held in NSW and ACT apply. More details
DNSW Clarendon Young Rider Recognition
With the change to the age requirements for the national Adult Amateur Owner/Rider Scheme riders under 21 are no longer eligible to compete as part of the AOR Scheme.
To encourage, support and recognise riders under 21 years, Dressage NSW has a Clarendon Young Rider Leaderboard similar to the Clarendon Adult Amateur Rider Scheme.
